New OB/GYN Joins Groves Memorial Community Hospital Team

Fergus, ON… Dr. Sagarika Basu, Obstetrician/Gynecologist (OB/GYN), has recently joined the Groves Memorial Community Hospital team at Groves alongside Dr. Jessica Rollings-Scattergood (OB/GYN) and Dr. Dan Reilly (OB/GYN) to deliver newborns and offer specialized gynecological care to women.
“What really drew me to Groves was the team. I love the close-knit community feel here” explains Dr. Basu.
Dr. Basu earned her graduate degree in Medicine in India and completed Obstetrics & Gynecology training in the United Kingdom.
Dr. Basu brings valuable experience in obstetrics and gynecology to Groves including high risk pregnancies, operative deliveries including Caesarean Sections, Gynecological surgeries like laparoscopic hysterectomies and more.
“There is such a diversity in the practice of obstetrics and gynecology between the combination of surgery and medicine” Dr. Basu explains.
She is passionate about improving Women’s Health in the community. Dr. Basu has moved to Fergus along with her husband and two children.
